This is not just a piece of hardware that has an emulator built into it, as is often the case with re-releases of old consoles. The Atari 2600+ will even support cartridges from the original Atari 2600 and 7800.
The console comes with one joystick. The second for the cooperative can be purchased. The set also includes a cartridge with 10 games.
Also, for the re-release of the console, re-releases of several original games will be released, which will also be sold on cartridges.
