Baldur’s Gate 3 is now fully compatible with Steam Deck

Larian has announced that her latest hit, Baldur’s Gate III, has been verified on Steam Deck. Now the game is fully compatible with the Valve console and does not require any additional steps in order to start playing.

Baldur’s Gate 3 launched on Steam Deck right after its release on August 3rd. However, at that time, players were facing problems and crashes. For example, with too small fonts, incorrect resolution, difficulties with management and constant crashes. So before starting the game, I had to dig into the settings.

After the latest Baldur’s Gate 3 update:

• fully functional with default control settings
• shows icons from the controller
• correctly scales the interface and fonts
• runs smoothly on default graphics settings
