The Secrets of the Archmages story add-on for Age of Wonders 4 has been released

The DLC adds new story content and magical abilities to the game, and includes three story-driven worlds, six new magical tomes, a new Owlfolk form, new world map variants, and much more.

The Age of Wonders 4: Secrets of the Archmages expansion invites players to uncover the hidden powers of the cosmos. Players will follow in the footsteps of the famed sorcerer-kings of Atla, master the arcane arts they learned, and face perils as they journey through the most sinister worlds of the Astral Sea.

The Sprite update, released alongside Secrets of the Archmages, contains numerous gameplay and content improvements for all Age of Wonders 4 players. Key additions include new Corsair culture features (available in the Empires & Ashes expansion), a redesigned empire tree, new kingdom creation options, new mounts, and much more.
