The developers of GreedFall II: The Dying World have revealed new details of the game

The authors have published a large post on their Steam blog.

GreedFall 2 will offer players a variety of new skills and talents to choose from, and the combat system will be constantly evolving. The tactical pause function will be expanded to provide full control over the party members.

Currently, the developers consider the combat system as a “work in progress”. The changes in the action may disappoint fans of the first part. Although the authors are not going to return to the same fighting style as in the first GreedFall, they intend to make combat gameplay one of the main pillars of early access and a subject that will receive close attention.

Gameplay systems such as difficulty sliders, character outline color selection, visual cues and many other options are planned, although not all of these features will be available at launch in early access.

GreedFall 2 is primarily a narrative role–playing game, and although players will have to face and fight opponents throughout the journey, there are many cases where they will be able to choose other options.

In addition, igrodel announced that they will soon reveal the release date of GreedFall II: The Dying World in early access. The game will be released on PC this summer, and on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles it will be available in 2025.
