Sony has announced the PlayStation 5 Slim

Rumors about the existence of PlayStation 5 Slim have been around for a long time, and now they have been confirmed. The new console will have a more compact size compared to the basic version, and will also get a removable disk drive.

The version with the floppy drive will cost $500, while the version without will cost $450. The floppy disk drive will retail for $80. PlayStation 5 Slim sales will start in November in the U.S. and later worldwide.
