Rumor: The new installment in the Metro series is a VR game

The rumor was shared by the user Kurakasis. According to him, the new part of the Metro series is a game for PS VR2 (and possibly other VR-platforms), and it will be called Metro Awakening. The game is supposedly to be presented at the PlayStation State of Play presentation, which may take place as early as January 31.

In addition, earlier there was a rumor that 4A Games is developing another game in the Metro series – a multiplayer shooter. As for the story continuation of the series, there is no news about it yet. The last installment of the franchise, the shooter Metro Exodus, was released in 2019.
