Space action platformer Space Adventure Cobra: The Awakening gets stylish trailer

Publisher Microids has once again confirmed the release date of the action platformer Space Adventure Cobra: The Awakening, inspired by the cult manga by Buichi Terasawa. The game will be released on August 26 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch, and this time the announcement was accompanied by a stylish trailer.

Players will take control of the charming and daring space pirate Cobra, who, together with the mysterious Armaroid and his legendary gun Psychogun, will once again rush into a dangerous adventure. The hero will try to uncover a cosmic secret associated with three mysterious sisters.

The project is inspired by the first episodes of the original anime and serves as a tribute to the manga, combining science fiction and the spirit of adventure. This is not the first time that Microids has taken on the adaptation of cult cartoons – their portfolio already includes games about Lupin, Asterix, The Smurfs and others.
