A new gameplay trailer for Resident Evil Requiem has been released

Capcom held a presentation during which they shared new details about the game.
According to the developers, Resident Evil Requiem was originally planned to be entirely dedicated to Leon, but they soon realized that they couldn’t capture the horror atmosphere and compelling gameplay in that version.
Therefore, the game will be split into two segments: playing as Grace will feel more like Resident Evil VII, while playing as Leon will feel more like Resident Evil 4.
Here, Leon is at his best: he confidently dispatches zombies and uses a variety of weapons, including a tomahawk. His axe won’t break, but it can become dull—it can be sharpened for greater effectiveness. Meanwhile, Grace will have to hide and avoid enemies more often than engage in direct confrontation, though she can still fight back if necessary.
The developers also noted that the infected in the game will retain the habits of their former selves: for example, a cleaning lady will try to clean the furniture, even though she’ll now smear blood on it. This can be used to your advantage.
Resident Evil Requiem will be released on February 27th on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2.
