Hot Wheels Monster Trucks: Stunt Mayhem™ REVIEW
Hot Wheels Monster Trucks: Stunt Mayhem racing action game brings adrenaline fans back to fantastic arenas and sets them only one goal – to perform as many stunt stunts as possible and even destroy the game environment. You will have to drive monstrous cars on giant wheels that can jump off a ski jump, fly over a high ramp and land elastically on their huge wheels.
Hot Wheels Monster Trucks: Stunt Mayhem includes about two dozen Monster Trucks of various designs and special tricks. From Mega Wrex and Bone Shaker to Tiger Shark and Scratch Attack and others, there are many transport monsters that can be controlled.
The gameplay does not deviate from the canons of the franchise, but has several new elements, including large locations stylized as the Middle Ages, entertainment centers and even mountain gorges. Game arenas now respond to players’ actions using an advanced physical system, and drivers will be able to destroy fragile bridges, demolish construction cranes and use the landscape for their own purposes.
The controls in Hot Wheels Monster Trucks: Stunt Mayhem are something you’ll have to get used to, regardless of whether you’re using a controller or a keyboard. You may be disappointed when the game does not allow you to recover from failed tricks, forcing you to respawn and lose a chain of combos. But in general, the management of Monster Trucks is good and you can adapt to it.
Visually, Monster Trucks: Stunt Mayhem may not impress you too much. The environment is not particularly detailed, but the monster trucks themselves are the most beautiful part of the game. The variety of trucks stands out for its unique design and bright colors, which is probably the most important aspect.
Hot Wheels Monster Trucks: Stunt Mayhem is a pleasant game, but it does not have a variety of game modes and an online multiplayer mode, which limits players in terms of gaming capabilities. She has a great focus on freestyle and the essence of Monster Trucks, but she would greatly benefit from adding a racing mode or other features to justify her price.
Obviously, this game is aimed at a younger audience, and there are other options for fans of older Monster Truck games.
