Firearms have powerful recoil, each shot causes a satisfactory visual and auditory response, and hits seem to cause damage (even if it takes several shots to defeat the enemy). It reminds me a bit of the classic Resident Evil series.
The visual style is fantastic. The hand-drawn characters are amazing and very well animated. Pixel models are incredibly expressive, have smooth and sometimes funny animations. Constantly changing camera angles create cinematic moments, pushing the boundaries of 2D perception.
