Alone in the Dark has been released.

The re-launch of the series received restrained reviews from the gaming press.

The game is set in the ominous Derseto Manor. You can control Emily Hardwood or Edward Carnby, played by actors Jodie Comer (“Protagonist”, “Killing Eve”) and David Harbour (“Very Strange Things”). Together, they must solve the disappearance of Emily’s uncle by delving deep into the mysteries shrouding the estate’s dark past. To uncover the truth, players will have to solve puzzles and confront terrifying creatures.

Alone in the Dark was released on MS, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The average score of the game on Metacritic was 64 out of 100. In our review, we noted a good atmosphere and a good story, but boring gameplay and bland puzzles.
