Vivat Slovakia – The dashing 90s in Slovakia

Recently, Vivat Slovakia was released on Steam in Early Access. This is a budget game with an open world in the spirit of Grand Theft Auto, the authors of which suggest going to the “dashing 90s”.

Vivat Slovakia is set in the 90s, in the Slovak capital Bratislava, which is mired in corruption and crime. Players will take on the role of an undercover secret agent and explore the city, completing tasks in the open world and exploring local attractions.

The game promises several dozen story missions based on real events that took place after the collapse of Czechoslovakia, as well as an extensive historical fleet. There are more than 50 authentic cars available in the game, an area of 10 square kilometers and a large selection of various weapons.

The previous game of the developers, the Vivat Sloboda racing simulator (2019), was dedicated to the period of the “velvet revolution” and the Eastern European automotive industry of the post-Soviet period from the point of view of a taxi driver.

The interest in Vivat Slovakia on Steam turned out to be much higher — online is almost many times more than that of Vivat Sloboda.

Vivat Slovakia will be developed under the Early Access program. It was previously estimated that it would take up to 12 months to release the full version.
In the full version, the developers promise new story tasks, various entertainment in the city, a companion dog, public transport and more.
