The South Dakota expansion for American Truck Simulator has been released, bringing Rushmore, the Black Hills, and a new event

The South Dakota expansion for American Truck Simulator is now available on Steam. It brings local industries, vast prairies, picturesque landscapes, and some of the most recognizable landmarks of the United States.

Players will explore 13 recreated cities, including Sioux Falls, Rapid City, and Pierre, as well as 21 picturesque towns and villages like Hot Springs, Walla, and Sturgis. The road network covers approximately 680 miles of real-world highways, with connections to Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, and Iowa.

Recognizable landmarks include Mount Rushmore, Corn Palace, Sioux Falls, and the “Dignity of Earth and Heaven” sculpture.

Cargo can be delivered to 10 special warehouses, and new industries include trailer manufacturing, housing construction, and a large food processing plant in Sioux Falls. The Black Hills, Badlands, and the surrounding area of Rewa are also worth exploring: from rock formations and forested hills to open plains and bustling towns.

The World of Trucks event Cruising South Dakota kicks off simultaneously. To complete your personal goal, deliver cargo to or from all 13 cities in South Dakota. Doing so will earn you the World of Trucks achievement and the Call of the Badlands truck paint job. The overall goal is to drive 150 million miles delivering to or from any city in the state.
