The online shooter Highguard from the former developers of Titanfall and Apex Legends has been released

Highguard, first announced at The Game Awards 2025, has launched. It’s a free-to-play MOBA shooter from Wildlight Entertainment, a studio founded by former Titanfall and Apex Legends employees. Players battle in a 3v3 format on spacious maps, collecting loot and attacking enemy bases. Players have access to futuristic weapons and magic, as well as mounts such as a horse, bear, and panther.

At launch, Highguard features five maps, six bases, eight characters, three mounts, and ten weapons. However, the developers have big plans for the project: new content will be added in “seasons,” each lasting two months. Each season will introduce new fighters, maps, modes, and much more.
