The hunting simulator Way of the Hunter 2 has been announced

The sequel promises players more gameplay options and cutting-edge technical performance.

In Way of the Hunter 2, players will be able to acquire a dog—the perfect tracker, helping them find animal tracks or follow the trail of fleeing animals. Through constant training and exercise, the companion will improve over time and learn to follow commands flawlessly.

The first hunting grounds in Way of the Hunter 2 are located in the vast Canadian wilderness, home to big game such as moose, bear, and bison, as well as smaller animals such as rabbits, turkeys, and a variety of other bird species.

A significantly improved camera allows for detailed analysis of each shot, helping you hone your technique and achieve the perfect result. A new hunting lodge serves as a hub for displaying your trophies, unlocking important upgrades, and planning your next adventure.

Way of the Hunter 2 features gear from over 10 real-world partner brands, ranging from hunting rifles and high-tech equipment to clothing.

The developers haven’t yet announced a release date for the game, but you can already add it to your Steam wishlist.
