The first reviews of Assassin’s Creed Shadows have appeared

The game receives high marks from gaming publications and critics.

Today, the embargo on publishing reviews of Assassin’s Creed Shadows has been lifted. Journalists mostly praise the project, calling it a “return to the roots”, which abandons role-playing elements, focusing on battles and stealth, note interesting characters, but note that the gameplay for the samurai Yasuke turned out to be less exciting than for the shinobi Naoe.

The average rating of Assassin’s Creed Shadows on Metacritic was 82 points out of 100, based on 54 reviews. The game will be released on March 20 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
