The authors of Cities Skylines 2 unveiled a photo mode and cinematic camera

Colossal Order studio and Paradox publisher have completed the presentation of the main features of the future city-building simulator Cities Skylines 2. Since mid-June we were told about population, transportation, city services, maps, climate, economy and other features that players are waiting for.

The final chapter was a chapter dedicated to the beauty of the game and how players can not only enjoy it, but also capture it. In the fresh video we were introduced to the photo mode and told about the features of the cinematic camera.

The developers tried to ensure that the creative impulses of the players were not limited in any way. In the photo mode we will be allowed to choose different camera settings, lenses, shades, weather and more. The photo mode will feature motion blur, time of day selection and many other features and options.

Cinematic mode will be accessible from photo mode, and in addition to the usual photo mode options, it will feature a timeline with the ability to add points to create transitions between different camera positions or photo mode settings. The settings thus created can be saved for future use.

Cities: Skylines 2 will premiere on October 24. The game will be released on MS, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. In addition, it will be immediately available on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass services.
