System requirements for the PC version of Alan Wake 2 have been announced

Remedy Entertainment has released the system requirements for the PC version of Alan Wake 2.

• To play at 1080p, 30 fps and low graphics settings, you’ll need a system with an Intel Core i5-7600K or similar AMD processor, 16GB of RAM and a graphics card no worse than NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600.
• To play at 1440p, 30 fps and with medium graphics settings, you’ll need a PC with an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor or similar Intel model, 16GB of RAM and a graphics card no worse than NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT.
• To play at 1080p, 60 fps and with medium graphics settings, you need a configuration with a processor of AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or similar model from Intel, 16 GB of RAM and a graphics card no worse than NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT.
• To play at 4K, 60 fps and with high graphics settings, you will need a system with AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor or similar model from Intel, 16 GB of RAM and video card no worse than NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 or AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT.
• You can play at 1080p, 30 fps, with medium graphics settings and minimal ray tracing on PC with AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor or similar model from Intel, 16 GB of RAM and video card no worse than NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT.
• To play at 1080p, 60 fps, with medium graphics settings and medium ray tracing, you’ll need a system with an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or similar Intel processor, 16GB of RAM and a graphics card no worse than NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070.
• Finally, you can play at 4K, 60 fps, with high graphics settings and high ray tracing on a configuration with an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or similar model from Intel, 16 GB of RAM and a graphics card no worse than NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080.
• The game will take 90 GB on SSD.

It should be noted that the previous Remedy Entertainment games, such as Quantum Break and Control, were also characterized by rather high system requirements. The developers note that the new title will be one of the most beautiful on the current generation of consoles.

Alan Wake 2 will be released on October 27 on MS, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
