Rockstar Games has announced an “Extended Look” for GTA VI: Premiering on August 27 on Netflix and YouTube

Rockstar Games released a short video announcing the upcoming reveal of Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look. The full “Extended Look” will be released on August 27, 2026, on Netflix at 3:00 PM ET.

Grand Theft Auto VI itself is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders are now available on Rockstar’s official website. The announcement video was very short (about 25-26 seconds) and sparked a heated reaction in the comments: many fans joked that even a trailer now requires its own trailer, and the collaboration with Netflix was especially unexpected for the gaming industry. This is one of the most anticipated gaming projects of recent years, and the new footage should provide a more detailed look at the gameplay and world of Vice City.
