Resident Evil: Death Island Animated Tape Released Digitally

Resident Evil: Death Island, a new animated cartoon set in the Resident Evil universe, has been digitally released online. The film is available for purchase on Amazon and a number of other digital cinemas.

Death Island takes place two years before Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. The audience is waiting for the story of several characters at once (Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield, Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine and Rebecca Chambers), who are trying to stop a new biological threat threatening the world. To do this, they have to explore the Alcatraz prison and find clues regarding a new outbreak of the virus.

Critics have not yet appreciated the film, although the tape was released in a limited theatrical release in early July. On IMDb, viewers rated Death Island a 6 out of 10.
