Actress Simone Bailey, who voiced Sgt. Cross’ partner in 2005’s Need for Speed: Most Wanted, posted on social media that the game’s remake is scheduled for release in 2024. The post was accompanied by hashtags mentioning the Need for Speed series, publisher Electronic Arts, and Criterion Games, the studio responsible for Need for Speed Unbound.

Bailey later deleted her post, but users managed to take a screenshot. EA has not yet commented on the news.
