From Nevermore to Paris: Netflix Releases First Look at Season 3 of “Wednesday” Starring Jenna Ortega

Netflix officially confirmed the expansion of the third season of Wednesday, releasing the first image of Jenna Ortega in Paris. The release of promotional material, which depicts the character on a motorcycle with the Eiffel Tower in the background, was an official response to recent leaks of photos from the Parisian streets.

The current stage of production has seen a significant addition to the cast: Eva Green (as Aunt Ophelia, Morticia’s sister), Lena Headey, and Winona Ryder have been cast. Along with James Lance and Andrew McCarthy, they will form the new core of the project, signaling the creators’ intention to depart from the established style and offer viewers a more mature and complex artistic structure.

According to current production plans, the premiere of new episodes on the streaming service is scheduled for 2027. The move of the setting from Nevermore Academy to France marks a shift away from the closed setting in favor of a larger narrative, the details of which are currently being kept under wraps.
