Fable will be released this fall

Playground Games, the studio behind the Forza Horizon series, unveiled a new gameplay trailer for the action RPG Fable and announced the game’s release window.

Fable will allow players to experience a character’s entire life, from childhood, when they unlock the Hero’s abilities. The plot will focus on a quest for revenge against a mysterious stranger who turned the protagonist’s village to stone.

The developers promise complete freedom of action, a spacious open world, the ability to talk to every NPC, a home ownership system, the ability to marry and have children, a flexible character creator, and a rich combat system.

The game will be released on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 this fall.
