The new trailer for The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu showcases tense gameplay and an ominous plot twist

Nacon and developer ACE Team have unveiled a new trailer for The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu ahead of the co-op horror game’s launch next week, issuing a “final call to adventurers” and warning of the dangers they face.

In The Mound, you play as a team of explorers searching for legendary lost treasures deep in the jungle, where a multitude of creatures are out to kill you. Before each expedition, you choose a contract, weapons, and equipment aboard your galleon before disembarking and facing a menagerie of monsters.

You’ll also have to contend with your own shattered sanity as the explorers’ perception of reality becomes increasingly distorted until their mental state reaches a breaking point.

The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, which features single-player and four-player cross-platform co-op, will launch on July 15th on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
