Death Stranding 2 has reached 56,000 players on Steam – almost double the number of the first game – and is receiving extremely positive reviews

It’s time to return to the strange and wonderful world of Death Stranding from Kojima Productions with the PC release of its sequel. Judging by its first few hours, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is already performing better than the first game and the Director’s Cut, reaching a peak of 55,444 concurrent players on Steam. Its 96% “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating, based on 726 user reviews, is also a plus.

By comparison, Death Stranding peaked at 32,515 concurrent players. The Director’s Cut, released in March 2022, peaked at 22,080 concurrent players. With the weekend coming up, there’s potential for even better results for Death Stranding 2, which is great news for Kojima Productions.
