Black Desert Mobile Releases Flagship Update – “Morning Land: Seoul”

Adventurers can look forward to new collections of tales, fearsome bosses from the Black Temple, a reworked mode called the Swordsman Tournament, and the release of a powerful new class, Sonin.

The update adds four new collections of tales inspired by Korean mythology to Black Desert Mobile:

• The Tale of Chunhyang – Follow Tolse and solve the mystery of the marten that suddenly appeared
• The Tale of Samshin – Uncover the disturbing mystery behind the disappearance of children born from divine prayers
• The Tale of Pulgasari – Meet a lone guardian cursed with eternal life, protecting the ruins of a fallen kingdom
• The Tale of Uturi – An elite combat competition where an unexpected opponent awaits the adventurer.

Powerful new enemies like Samshin, Pulgasari, and Uturi will be introduced in the Black Temple update, initially available until Challenge Tier V, with the difficulty increasing from there. Previous bosses like Pari, the Golden Pig King, and the Bamboo General will be joining the fray for the first time, adding a new challenge. To combat this threat, the new mode will allow players to swap out their clan’s heroes mid-battle, a strategic feature that adds depth and dynamics to high-level battles.

Along with the Morning Land: Seoul update, Sonin arrives in the game, a new disciple who controls the five elements of wood, fire, earth, metal, and water to maintain harmony between the shadow and light energies. Armed with the Celestial Sword and Churyong, Sonin dances across the battlefield, delivering fluid, precise strikes. His Labam skill “Downward Strike” allows him to teleport, strike from above, and summon Iron Tiger for an extra hit.
