BioWare may have abandoned the open world in the new Mass Effect

Insider and journalist Jez Corden shared a curious rumor about Mass Effect 4 in the latest edition of the Xbox Two podcast.

He received information that BioWare decided to abandon the open world model, which was implemented in Mass Effect: Andromeda. Instead, the developers are going to return to the “classic format” of the series, as in the original trilogy.

Recall that BioWare is still continuing to prepare for the production of a new Mass Effect. For the success of the upcoming novelty and Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, the studio decided to cut about 50 employees.
