Atlus has released a new trailer for Persona 4 Revival, highlighting the game’s plot and showcasing fresh gameplay

Atlus has released a new trailer for Persona 4 Revival, offering a brief overview of the remake’s plot and revealing new gameplay footage. The video is aimed at both fans of the original looking to refresh their memories of the game’s events and newcomers who are yet to discover the history of the mysterious town of Inaba. Persona 4 Revival is scheduled for release on February 18, 2027.

The trailer is narrated by Paul Castro Jr., the new English voice of Yosuke Hanamura. The video reveals key plot points: the life of a Japanese high school student unexpectedly intertwines with the investigation of a series of mysterious incidents connected to the mystical “Midnight Channel.” The developers have taken care to keep key plot twists under wraps, preserving the intrigue for those who haven’t yet played the original Persona 4.

In addition to the story, the trailer offers a glimpse of the updated gameplay. Persona 4 Revival retains the familiar core of the original, but features modern graphics and a number of improvements. The trailer also briefly showcases the new Send Flying mechanic, though its capabilities remain undisclosed.

Atlus is likely saving a more detailed gameplay demo for Gamescom 2026, where Persona 4 Revival is expected to receive a separate presentation. For now, the new trailer offers a better understanding of what this updated version of one of the most beloved games in the Persona series will be like.
