All Xbox Games Showcase 2026 announcements and trailers
On the evening of June 7, Microsoft held the Xbox Games Showcase 2026 presentation, where they unveiled trailers for upcoming games. Here’s what was shown:
- Gears of War: E-Day – the first gameplay trailer for the action game, along with the release date: October 6 for PC and Xbox.
- Fable – a new story trailer for the action RPG, the new game in the Fable series. The release is February 23.
- Halo: Campaign Evolved – a remake of the first Halo game will be released on July 28.
- Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy – a spin-off of the A Plague Tale series has a release date: August 28.
- Persona 4 Revival – the debut trailer for the jRPG remake, along with the game’s release date: February 18, 2027.
- State of Decay 3 – a new demo of the open-world zombie survival game. The game will be released in 2027.
- Sea of Thieves – Season 20 kicks off on June 18th.
- Metro 2039 – New gameplay trailer for the shooter and release window: the title will go on sale in February 2027.
- Bad Magpie – An entertaining adventure about a one-winged magpie who collects various shiny objects. The game will be released in 2027.
- Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember – The debut trailer for the soulslike action game, the game will be released in 2027.
- Senua – An announcement trailer for the new game in the Hellblade series. The project is scheduled for release in 2027.
- DOOM: The Dark Ages – Announcement of a story expansion called Revelations, which will be released on July 7th.
- Crazy Taxi: World Tour – A gameplay trailer for the crazy arcade action game. The game will be released in 2027.
- Magicians: The Devil’s Deal – a preview of a vibrant shooter about an illusionist who makes a deal with the Devil.
