Airport Contraband invites players to a playtest

Registration is open now, and the public test will begin in January 2026.

Assume the duties of a customs officer at Kaldor Airport, a tropical tourist hub. Easily escort passengers and cargo through the airport, checking travel documents, enforcing regulations, and inspecting luggage for prohibited items. Or… perhaps try to grab a piece of the action and make a quick buck by collaborating with a local cartel. Accept bribes from smugglers, conceal illegal cargo shipments, and expose innocent travelers.

Be prepared for unruly travelers who refuse to cooperate. When suspects become aggressive or try to escape, only a reliable taser and handcuffs can end the conflict. Conduct chemical tests and X-ray scans of suspicious luggage to thwart smugglers skilled at evading detection. Unlock new tools like knives, UV lamps, and crowbars to help you detect contraband and ensure public safety.

Registration is now open for the Airport Contraband playtest, which will take place in January 2026 and will give players their first taste of what it’s like to work at Kaldor Airport. You can register on the game’s Steam page.
