Action game MindsEye receives mostly negative reviews in preview; testers recommend delaying release

MindsEye, a third-person game from former Rockstar developers, is coming next month. With a former Rockstar producer at the helm, the game has a lot of hype to live up to.

However, the team is having a hard time doing so, as early previews aren’t exactly positive. Most testers are recommending putting the game on hold until these issues are resolved.

One YouTube user even called it one of the worst previews ever. Overall, the game feels unfinished and is in alpha, so it’s not ready to launch next month.

The lack of marketing doesn’t help either. There’s not enough gameplay to convince people to buy the game, and most wouldn’t even know about the game if it weren’t for the former Rockstar employees working on the project.
